'A bit about me'

Each month, we will have a profile of a member of our team for you to get to know us a little better.

Lucy Smith, Nursery Cook

Hi I'm Lucy and I am the Cook at Robin Hill Nursery. As part of my role, I cook homemade, healthy meals each day and lead cooking sessions with the children which I absolutely love! I am proud to announce that I have achieved the 'Outstanding food award' two years in a row and am extremely passionate about providing the children with well nourished meals.

I always hear parents saying that their children will eat something here but not at home so each month, I choose a 'meal of the month' and send home the dry ingredients to help parents get their little ones eating the same at home! I also add in some of my 'top tips' to disguise as much veg in each meal as possible! I have two sons at home so I know how hard it can be!

In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog and spending time with my family.
